Online Training Kit

Online Kits

The online kit consist of a web-based course  accessed through a portal that we customize to mirror your company web page. This provides students a consistent look and feel as they take the course from you but remain unaware it is a separately hosted course.   The courses can be taken from anywhere at anytime, without impacting your teaching schedule or instructor availability.   The online course has three main differences from the NCPS outside the fact that it is web-based:

  • Progress and Time-Controlled to ensure users cannot skip content or shortcut the program.  Student(s) do NOT have the ability to navigate freely between the slides or lessons. The instructor controls fully the progress of the class.
  • It is  narrated. This means the instructor is only present to make additional comments on the slides and answer questions from the student.
  • The instructor can have up to six live classrooms running at the same time: One Primary "Proctored" classroom hosting the majority of the students, and five side classrooms to host students who need to make-up a class they missed or failed, and for which all the instructor has to do are to verify attendance and answer questions.
  • Security questions are asked individually to each student every 3 to 5 minutes to ensure students stay at their screen. If a student fails a security questions (questions are like in the banking system, what's your mother maiden name, the model of your first car, etc.) the instructor is notified and has the option to override the failure or fail the student for the lesson.
  • Knowledge questions are asked a few times in every lesson, and a 70% passing score is required for the lesson to be recorded as successfully completed.
  • The instructor can manage students independently, or by classroom or even system-wide with one click.
  • Students are required to upload a picture of their driver's license and a selfie while holding their driver's license on camera. Then with one click the instructor can verify a student. The system automatically displays the student's profile picture and driver's license while asking access to the student webcam so that the instructor can match the lived student at the computer with the driver's license and profile picture.
  • A complete and detailed logged is kept of every interaction between the student, the system and the instructor, including the DI license number of the instructor teaching the class, making it possible for the Division of Licensing to inspect records easily and precisely through a special audit access login without affecting the school and its classes.
  • It doesn’t require an assigned computer or uploading a software. It can be taken on any device that can connect to the Internet, even a phone or a tablet.
  • The cost if a one-time-fee of $1,069 for the account setup, and then $4.99 per student enrollment license that can be purchased 100 at a time or is billed monthly or quarterly depending on the volume of student the school manages.
  • The course includes a final examination that generates automatically a completion certificate (PDF format) at successful completion.
  • Additionally the instructor has the ability to pause an entire classroom, or all the classrooms at once with one click.
  • Everything is controlled from one screen that allows sorting students by name, classroom, priority level of attention required, ID Verification or chat request, allowing the instructor to manage all the tasks in groups and easily without missing a beat or forgetting a student.

PLEASE NOTE:  If your facility is in a State that does not allow distance learning or that requires that the course be taken under the tutelage of a licensed instructor / licensed location, you can still use the online version. What must be done is to require students complete the course while at the school and properly supervised. This is easily accomplished by having the instructor or school manager lock the student’s account when the student leaves for the day.  That way, the student can’t access the course when off premise.
